What We Believe

We encourage you to take time to read What We Believe as New Testament Followers of Jesus Christ

What we Believe

We believe that there is a difference between The Church and The Assembly. “Church” is pagan in origin, history, and practice. When Jesus said, "I will build my Eklessia" (which was deliberately mistranslated to "Church" to align with the pagan worship of Church), he, as well as others, were conscious of the existence of Church (from the Greek word Circe was hundreds of years in existence before then, and Jesus did not only avoid using the Greek word "church" (Kuriakon), but used the word Ekklesia and warned the disciples never to engage in its practices (Mat 20:25-28).

Consequently, the doctrines, practices, worship, followership and leadership of the church today are all in line and a carry-over of the ancient pagan religion that invaded The Assembly in the early ages and took control of it, annihilating  the leaders and persecuting the brethren.

Leaders of this pagan religion bloodily toppled the leadership of the Assembly, banned meetings in homes and changed it to meeting in their place of worship called called “church,” and compelled Christians to either "go to church" or be called “heretic” with its consequences of being put to death by burning at stake or by feeding to wild animals at the coliseum.

Scrolls and manuscripts that the Assembly used in fellowship were banned, seized, and burned, anyone possessing one was executed.

As brethren in the Assembly fled the persecution, this pagan church consolidated their grip and instituted their dominance and take over of the Assembly.

To establish their win, “scholars” of this pagan religions who were called priests and fathers where contracted to translate the scrolls and manuscripts (later called the Bible) and doctored it to reflect the doctrines, practices, festivals, beliefs, faith, traditions of their religion.

This is where many pagan doctrines (like worship of Mary, infant baptism, confession of faith, praying for the dead, indulgences, eucharist, Christmas, Easter, titles, and so on) were inserted and instituted as part of the Christian faith, which was never part of the true Christian doctrine but of the pagan church with significance to their idols.

The most dangerous and most effective doctrines the pagan church instituted and forced over the Assembly are:

1. The clergy-laity style of meeting which replaced Fellowship (Koinonia) and

2. The one-man leadership/ownership/founder of the church which replaced plurality of elders.

___

Both the Clergy/Laity doctrine and One-man leadership are historically consistent and native to the church but never in the Assembly. Jesus actually warned the disciples to avoid the clergy-laity style in Mat 20:26-28, Mk 10:42-45, Lk 22:25-26. Twice in Rev 2:6 and 15 Jesus told the Assemblies at Ephesus that He hates this doctrine which he calls the deeds of the Nicolaitans.

All the strange doctrines, practices, festivals imported, infused, and instituted into the assembly are sadly being practiced by many sincere but deceived believers who serve and worship the Jesus the pagan church made for people who is actually the son of the goddess they worship as the queen of heaven called Mary.

We believe that this pagan church succeeded in eradicating the genuine brethren of the True Assembly for over a thousand years after. They subdued and crushed anyone who challenged their authority. It was historically documented that millions of saints died for resisting and challenging this pagan entity. Thus, making “the church” the most singular organization on earth that killed most Christians in the history of mankind.

How can we know this is true? Why would the church kill unarmed Christians who challenged their authority by burning them at stake or feeding them to wild animals as sport? Because they see it as not only challenging their authority per se but letting the secret of the church out.

Islam and other religions have done nothing to Christians compared to what the church has done to Christians.

This practice of crushing whoever owned a Bible continued from 300AD up to as recent as 1500AD where genuine believers, like William Tyndale were burned at the stake for daring to own a bible or to translate the original manuscript to the language people can read. Every "original" manuscript that escaped the seizures and destruction over the ages were monitored to make sure it never went public, including the ones as recently found in the Cave in the 20th century that were under lock and key at the Vatican never to see the light of the day.

The Church is NOT The Assembly that Jesus built, it is not the Assembly that the disciples followed, and it is not The Assembly that the early Christians practiced.

The Jesus,  doctrines, festivals, practices, etc, of the Church are not the same as that of the Assembly of Jesus.

Therefore, we urge true believers to do their diligence by allowing the Holy Spirit to lead and guide them into the truth. Jesus is the Way, the Truth and the Life. We care called into the fellowship of God through His Son, Jesus and by the Holy Spirit in us, and He will lead us into all truths.

The True History of the Church

Historically, "Church" existed long before Jesus instituted His Assembly in Matthew 16:18. It was known as the "house of the Lord," the "Lord" being, a Greek goddess called "Circe."

Back to The Basics (contd)

Home

We believe in meeting in homes where possible as Jesus instituted and the early disciples and assembly did.

Leadership

A one-man church leadership is pagan in origin. Jesus warned the disciples not to practice it (Mat 20:25-28, Mar 10:42-45, Luk 22:24-30). Hence, there is no "Pastor" or such one-person leader in the New Testament Assembly. Leadership is by Plurality of those called and recognized by the Assembly and are called "Elders" as common in the book of Acts and other Epistles.

Priesthood

We believe in the priesthood of all believers. There are no Levites, bond, free, slave, Gentile, Jews in the body of Christ. We are all equal and one in the Lord and we are all brethren.

Giving

As New Testament Believers saved by Grace and led by the Holy Spirit, we do not subscribe to the Old Testament style of giving. The New Testament is clear about believers’ giving and every believer must participate in it.

Bride of Christ

We believe that believers are the Bride of Christ and not the spiritual Israel, and Christ is to her Messiah-the-Lamb. Israel, however, is the friend of God and Christ will return to complete His assignment to her as Messiah-the-Lion (of Judah). This will be at the second coming of Christ when the Assembly has been raptured.
